Yes, TT Perth lost both of them.
Claremont-Belmont was run as a single package during the Connex days, from what i picked up at ATDB-WA. The O405NHs 1300-62 were inherited from them by Swan Transit-Riverside, who closed the old Bentley and Redcliffe bus parks and built a new CNG-compatible depot in Welshpool.
Also, Wanneroo buses used to cameo on City Beach routes during the Path Transit monopoly of the northern suburbs, but after they lost the tender for Marmion to Swan Transit, the occasional Shenton Park bus would cover some duties for Routes 81-84.
With Path Transit wresting Kalamunda (incorporating Belmont), it would make sense for Bayswater to share duties for Route 36, as this depot is the closest to Midland Station. You can technically have the same bus serve Routes 36 & 55 in one shift. Eg: Bayswater Depot >> Midland Station >> [Route 36]Elizabeth Quay >> [Route 55]Bassendean >> Bayswater Depot.

New Bus Services Announced by LTA/PTOs (Part 2) replied by SMB31X @ Sat, 11 Jun 2016 23:15:46 +0800

I own my own car and I don't think LTA can afford me.
Having said that.. I walk the talk.. I take buses... I observe loading of buses across the island.. and hence I have a decent idea on the loading patterns.
Go to the loading level of buses thread and you will see what I mean.
I don't know how you can justify massive spamming of rigids on high loading services.. but everyone is entitled to their point of view...
Cheers!
I'm not nitpicking but rather as a commuter, There are alot of ways that I can get to that stretch of road JW/E ave 1 rather than to take 187 at lakeside, which is not really a 'must'.
187 isn't the only service that goes past there, There is still 99 157 185 198 and E502 there from Boon Lay and SLBP to lighten the load, 98 from JE/JI and 49 (just that it turns left) from JE int to help out too so in a sense 187 isn't that isolated with the load demand.
187 getting DDs is not really a must, unless something drastic happens.
