Note that I have mentioned "LTA" rather than TTS...because TTS is simply a puppet of LTA uh..so is SMRT/SBST/Go-Ahead...

Recently, there's plenty of complains over the 10km/hr speed on bus 77..even the bc is pissed when the BOCC ask them to slow down even more...check out the TTS fb page. I think if TTS is given full control of the frequency, maybe they will perform better.

Got,Else why TTS deploy buddy system(Experience BCs) for a few days for the newbie BCs?Like it or not this will be the scenario in future and prepared to see more rear ended cases,Lol!

Anyway my pick for the third package is:Foreign operators 90%,SMRT 80%,Tower Transit & Go Ahead 60% and SBST 50%.

i would say no more other operators.

SMRT is likely to retain.

6595L (ex-HG SP) on Sv 12

6592U 6593S (ex-HG SP also iirc) on Sv 15

Just dk why they went from SLBP to HGDEP first before doing the xfer to BNDEP. If it's for the DDU units (based in HGDEP?), then maybe i can understand..

Idk if you originally meant BRBP or BNDEP..
But either way, we need to consider also that whatever BNDEP is storing currently, includes all the SPs that are going to be offloaded to GA in a few months time.

So the actual number of SPs BNDEP have in reality for SBST's own use (to replace all the deregistering VO3xs) is much lesser than what is currently listed on Wiki haha

which part do some of you people not get? 9 out of 12 packages will be retained by the incumbents.

is it logical that tha LTA will award SMRT or SBST the package beyond the 9 that they have been guaranteed? please refrain from engaging in pure fantasy, as if some people can see the future and tell who will be the winner for seletar.

2 tranches. LTA's press release back then when they announced the results specifically said the takeover will be in 2 tranches in Q3 2016.

Unless LTA & Go-Ahead changed their minds recently and decided that doing a 3-tranch thing (like TT is doing with Bulim) is better. But considering that TT had to takeover the SMRT buses also, while GA's takeover is more clear-cut (just SBST stuff), i think they're sticking to 2 tranches

If a company proposes jumpbus, it'll look good to LTA because it optimizes the use of limited resources.

Who wins this parcel tender will depend on whether LTA is interested in a fifth operator.

If it doesn't, TT will win hands down. They are trying very hard (perhaps too hard) to perfect their BSRF score. All they have to do is to apply the Kalamunda strategy (which they have just indicated they will).

If it does, then it all comes down to who can offer the lowest bid. Most, if not all bidders, already know how to check the quality boxes.
