Even 89e (the only so called legal bus service which could skip this stop due to its express nature) will be at TPE stop. Cheers.

Hi mr SBS2601D, I did not know govt jobs are mostly contract basis now. But who in his right sense of mind will give up his permanent job in private sector now to go for a contract job? For perm jobs now, even if retrenched, he or she will get a tidy payout. For contract job, no guarantee and no sense of security. Even if deep interest may not be worth taking the risk when one has a family to feed. Cheers.

Saw 9444U on 14 once I wonder replacing which one....

I wonder whether they have the intention to introduce a new service which links Bukit Merah Int and Harbourfront via Jln Bt Merah/Lower Delta Rd/Kg Bahru Rd or via Henderson Rd/Telok Blangah Rd? 57 and 131 makes a big round to go to Harbourfront and needless to say on 123 in which no one except joyriders will take this service from Bt Merah to Harbourfront and ivce versa.

WHAT ARE THE TRANSFER CONDITIONS?

A transfer can be from:

the MRT/LRT to a bus service,
a bus service to another bus service, or
a bus service to the MRT/LRT

Under Distance Fares, the rules are:

Transfer time limit of 45 minutes.
All journeys must be within 2 hours of the first boarding on the same journey.
Single entry and exit allowed for rail.
Current bus service must not be the same number as the preceding bus service.
Maximum of 5 transfers can be made within a journey.
this is where transfer between 131 and 275 is which i try to say

Go and do survey of Bukit Merah Interchange, and you will see off-peak buses leave interchange with 2, 5, 8 pax on consecutive buses. There will be one bus after 3 buses where there can be double digit loading during off-peak. And with 131 still being there, what is the fuss about?
We keep saying we don't want LTA to waste money on stupid services, and 275 was one of them.

SO WHAT DOES NOT QUALIFY AS A VALID TRANSFER?

The following do not qualify as valid transfers:

MRT to MRT transfer does not qualify as a valid transfer but does not affect eligibility for subsequent transfer to bus (valid transfer will be awarded to or from MRT only once per journey)
Transfer between MRT and LRT (if passenger exits from the paid areas of both systems)
Transfer from a bus to another of the same service number or to/from a subsidiary service that does not qualify for a transfer.
Transfer to/from Sentosa Bus, Night Services & CT services
If Bus Concession Pass (BCP), Train Concession Pass (TCP) or Hybrid Concession Pass (HCP) is used
After fifth transfer

Received an email regarding this..It is said that Wldep will go minor refurb to accomodate DDs and the notable one will be Kranji where some parking lots will be fitted with rooftops parking..Ang Mo Kio will follow suit later.I sense they will lease the empty land for additional parking as it is mentioned expand and refurbishing..Will update later.I sense Wlbp and Cgbp will be on temporary based only,Once Bulim and Loyang is completed the third player might use the bus parks instead.Another reason why SMRT will renew the leasing at Kranji.

Acronym for learning service..Fei in Chinese..all SBST& SMRT BCs and Timekeepers knew this eons ago
